An exciting opportunity has arisen within Powys Teaching Health Board's Outpatients department for Planned Care for a registered nurse.

The Outpatients department in Ystradgynlais Community Hospital is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated registered nurse to join the department. You will work, as part of a team as well as independently to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for patients and all service users within the Outpatients department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
There is a range of specialties delivered at the hospital, such as:
ENT, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Urology, Rheumatology, and Ophthalmology.The post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, participating and contributing to the wider clinical governance agenda, including service developments, and flexible working to meet the needs of patients. The nurse will evaluate assigned patients within an outpatient facility or clinic, determine the appropriate equipment that will be needed, make preparations, and assist physicians during examinations. You will also perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
An informal visit is recommended.
