Job summary
We are delighted to be offering a permanent 1.0 position for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our small and friendly children's team within Powys Teaching Health Board. You will have the opportunity to gain experience and work in a wide range of clinical areas including Early Years, complex needs and core mainstream service.

Main duties of the job
You will work within the children's Speech and Language Therapy team providing assessment, diagnosis and intervention/management of children. You will have the opportunity to work in a range of clinical areas supporting children who have a range of speech, language, and communication needs. You will be supported by a team of Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapists across a range of specialisms.
The post holder will be well supported and be part of our band 5 peer supervision network, as well as being supported to complete RCSLT NQP competencies (if required). We have regular supervision sessions and have a strong ethos on supporting staff to develop alongside the trusts appraisal system.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
