Job summary
We are looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team to undertake the role of the Therapies Hub Co-ordinator, based within the Therapies Hub at Newtown Hospital.
These are full time roles however we will consider job-share for the right candidates.
The post holder will require excellent communication skills, liaising with patients and clinicians over multiple channels i.e. telephone, email.
The post holder will work positively and flexibly to support the needs of the service, be motivated, ready for the next challenge and enjoy working as part of a very busy team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide administrative support within the Therapies Hub, managing waiting lists, booking and sending out appointments for clinics, marking patients as attending / non-attending, chasing results and undertake audio typing for specialist clinics. The post holder will also provide a range of clerical duties as directed, provide support and cross cover within the department. Knowledge of WPAS is desirable and previous audio/touch typing experience is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
