Job summary
There is a new opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive, front desk/administrative support to the Dental Department.
The post holder will provide first point of contact for the department and will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties, including managing incoming calls, enquiries and booking of patients.
The post holder will need to have excellent organisational skills and will be required to demonstrate appropriate computer literacy.
Main duties of the job
Manages incoming telephone calls and enquires, which may be of a complex and sensitive nature, taking messages accurately, forwarding in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality.
To undertake clerical duties in the form of receiving and booking in patients, recording patient details. To access previous records for patients attending for dental treatment, using the Dental software EXACT.
Communicate with patients to ensure medical history, consent forms and any other relevant information needed are completed on arrival.
