We are recruiting an experienced digital communications professional to join Powys Teaching Health Board as our Digital Communications Manager on a one year secondment to cover maternity leave.
Main duties of the job
You will be the lead officer within the team for the development and implementation of the Health Board's digital communication strategy through the delivery of high-quality digital communications.
This includes day-to-day management of the health board's corporate bilingual digital and social media channels within the Engagement and Communication Team (including the health board website) and providing advice and support to clinical and corporate teams across the health board in the management and development of corporate and departmental channels.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Welsh Language requirements for digital communications. Proven knowledge of SEO and web analytics Proven advanced written and verbal communication skills required, which are adaptable to different audiences and purposes.
- Good knowledge and practical application of communications, public relations, journalism and marketing communication techniques.
- A good understanding of digital design techniques. Evidence of continuing professional development.

- Knowledge of MURA CMS Understanding of paid social media and marketing campaigns Understanding of the NHS and of health issues
