We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated and committed individual to provide leadership and operational management to the Workforce Resourcing and Operations teams. If this is you, then we would love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery and development of our recruitment, resourcing and data intelligence solutions across the Health Board to enable the organisation to respond to its short and long-term staffing requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills are essential to ensure delivery and progress against our organisational objectives; driving solutions that will enable us to meet our deliverables within organisational strategic plans.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Resourcing and Operations Manager is a senior role within theWorkforce and OD team. Reporting directly to, and on behalf of the Head of Workforce Transformation, Planning & Resourcing; the post holder will beresponsible for providing leadership and operational management to thefollowing areas:o Recruitment (General, Medical, Executive, and International)o Temporary Staffing (Bank and Agency)o Workforce E-Systemso Operational WOD Administration

The post holder will be responsible for the management and performance of the areas and teams in relation to the above service areas listed, including the management of a delegated budget in respect of Temporary Staffing.

They will lead the delivery and development of recruitment, resourcing, and data intelligence solutions (including the management of the Temporary Staffing Unit) across the Health Board to enable the organisation to respond to its short-and-long-term staffing needs. This will include providing specialist advice across all levels of the Health Board and managing particularly complex recruitment and resourcing issues.

  • Master's in Human Resource Management (or relevant subject or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant leadership experience within Human Resources
  • Significant experience in all aspects of recruitment policies, processes, and practices
  • Strong understanding of Workforce E-Systems and data intelligence/reporting
  • Considerable knowledge of Employment legislation, particularly in relation to recruitment practice and employment status

  • Willingness to obtain MCIPD registration
