Job summary
Powys Teaching Health Board community dental service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant Oral Surgeon. The post is based in Newtown. You will be part of an innovative forward thinking community dental service which provides a wide range of dental services, allowing the successful colleague to Join and lead a team of experienced clinicians providing an oral surgery service for North Powys.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be experienced at providing general and paediatric oral surgery. Will provide outpatient clinics and surgical sessions under local and general anaesthesia in support of the primary care medical and dental services in Powys. Give advice, support and input as needed to the teams in other related specialist areas. Maintain and develop local services by supporting innovation and best practice. Provide training and support for community dental staff. Clinical supervision for foundation plus 1 post's.

- oExperience in Educational Supervision of DCT and Specialist Trainees including managing trainees in difficulties
