Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills to apply for the post of Inpatient Team lead on Clywedog Ward , Llandrindod Wells Hospital. Clywedog Ward is a 10 bedded older adult mental health mixed gender ward, caring for individuals with a functional or organic need serving the population of South Powys.

Main duties of the job

The team leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team and environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent mental health services and can support the staff to achieve their potential. Key responsibilities will include supervision and appraisal for staff, recruitment, and management of staff, monitoring the environment, mental health and physical health needs for the individual, including any ligature risks. making sure that people are safe and that we promote person centred care whilst maintaining a cost-effective service.
