The Practice Nurse will work as part of the Primary Healthcare Team providing Personal Medical Services to the patients of practice

Main duties of the job

Due to retirement, a vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Practice Nurse Manager.

In addition to carrying out clinical nursing practice at an advanced level, the successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Leadership and clinical supervision of the nursing team

  • Development, implementation and evaluation of new services

  • Ensuring clinical practices comply with policies and procedures

  • Promoting development, mentorship and training of the nursing team

  • Monitoring and maintaining high standards of nursing care

  • Ensuring compliance with CG framework

  • Collecting data for audit purposes and ensure audit requirements are achieved

The hours will be negotiable and salary will be dependent upon experience and qualifications.

We are a highly reputable surgery and our list size is continuously growing.Our main site is Park House in Prestatyn, which is a purpose built building and we have a branch site, Westfield Surgery, in nearby Rhyl.We are a well organised, high achieving practice with a very friendly team of excellent ANP, nursing and support staff.
