General Practitioner - The Stables Medical Practice

Job summary

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients

Main duties of the job

8 sessions a week

Salaried GP with view to Partnership.

We are a large, friendly, dedicated practice with a determination to provide high quality clinical care for our patients, at the same time we are highly committed to looking after our doctors as well. Due to retirement an opportunity has arisen to join our friendly forward thinking practice. We are situated in North East Wales on the Welsh/English border. There are good connections to nearby cities with the historical city of Chester being only 5 miles away. There are also excellent schooling options in the local area.

We have a list size of 10500 patients and deliver our GMS contract over 3 sites. Our main site is Hawarden Health Centre with branch sites in Saltney and Buckley. Hawarden is located 6.7 miles from Chester and is 4 miles from the English border, we are close to motorway links giving direct access to Liverpool and Manchester

We have two Nurse Practitioner, 3 Practice Nurses, with a Locum Clinical Pharmacists (Salaried position pending recruitment) We also have an excellent administration team.

Full time is 8 sessions per week with protected CPD time with 6 weeks annual leave. Part time applicants also welcomed.
