Job summary
4 sessions a week - Salaried GP
Ideally 4 sessions per week- could look at up to 6 sessions soon and in future we could look at full time position if interested.
Duty doctor once a week / pro rata
Specialist interests encouraged and you will be welcome to get involved in training of GP registrars.
Starting date - as soon as possible.
Main duties of the job
List size 14000+
Excellent team consisting of 7 GP’s, 2 Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and admin team
We have a lot of admin staff/nurses who have been trained up to do specific tasks to ease the doctor’s workload – like prescribing team, read coding team and documents team.
We have a signposting service for on the day appointment requests which is managed by our Medical reception team and ANP’s.
Other than day to day GP services, we provide a wide range of facilities in house including minor surgery, joint injections, contraception (coils/implants, Anticoagulation services and DVLA medicals etc.
We have in house advanced physiotherapist managing Musculo-skeletal problems first line.
We use EMIS Web.
On site pharmacy (not owned)
We are a training practice for GP’s- currently have 2 GP registrars. We also have training facilities for pharmacists to become Independent prescribers.
