Want the ultimate work life balance whilst developing your CV?

The Clinical Fellow posts in Ysbyty Gwynedd can give you the lifestyle you dream of whilst you further your career interests.

These posts allow you to experience a surgical specialty, time to build your CV and to develop your interests outside of work. You will have an educational supervisor, a healthy study leave budget and fantastic training opportunities. Bangor University has very close links with the hospital.

Main duties of the job

These posts are not part of a national core training scheme but will offer similar training opportunities to clinical fellows at CT level. A comprehensive teaching programme will provide access to protected consultant led teaching opportunities.

We are an exciting diverse department, with ample exposure to trauma and elective activity, which becomes increasingly busy during peak holiday periods. The post holders will be encouraged to undertake research as well as audit projects, with access to a generous study budget, supported by the Orthopaedic clinical team.

About us

Situated between the tidal flows of the Menai Straits and the rugged Eryri national park (Snowdonia), Bangor is the ideal place for a work-life balance. Within half an hour of finishing work you can be paddling in the coastal waters off Anglesey, climbing the slate classics or enjoying a walk along one of our beautiful beaches. Our hospital is just the right size so that you know your colleagues whilst offering interesting and varied clinical work.
