What we're looking for

You'll:

Deliver safe, effective clinical pharmacy services within your allocated area

Take part in the pharmacist rota, including on-call duties

Provide expert medicines advice across primary and secondary care

Promote evidence-based, cost-effective use of medicines

Support and train other pharmacy team members

Get involved in practice development and research

Main duties of the job

  • Provide a safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to allocated clinical area
  • Undertake professional clinical pharmacist's duties as per rota including the provision of on-call.
  • Provide pharmaceutical advice and support within both primary and secondary care services as required
  • Develop, encourage and promote evidence-based, cost effective use of medicines
  • Assist in providing clinical training and supervision of other pharmacy staff.
  • To be involved in the development and delivery of practice research
