Job summary
We are recruiting a Band 7, Children's Regional Patient Experience Lead to work across the Health Board in all three geographical areas (six counties). This post is permanent and full time.
The post holder will work across children's services and have a thematic lead for children's learning disabilities services. The post holder will be required to work closely with children, young people, families/carers and professionals and will need to demonstrate compassionate leaderships skills, which are respectful and empower the rights of the child.
The post holder will work alongside the two existing patient experience leads to support regional and national work-streams including the BCUHB Children's Charter, NYTH/NEST Framework and No Wrong Door Recommendations.
Main duties of the job
BCUHB is committed to engaging with our patients and service users to listen and learn from their experiences to become improvement focused on care pathways. To support this commitment, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative individual to join our Children's Learning Disability service to work alongside Patient Experience colleagues in CAMHS services and Neurodevelopmental Services.
You are expected to have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on your own initiative, problem solve, prioritise your workload, manage projects and meet agreed deadlines.
