An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HCPC/NMC registered Operating Department Practitioner or R/N with required Anaesthetic qualification and an interest in orthopaedics to join our Anaesthetic Theatre team providing skilled anaesthetic support to BCUHB 'Central' theatres.

This post will be predominantly based in the newly built Orthopaedic Hub Theatres in Llandudno Hospital and may involve some shifts in YGC and Abergele Theatres.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide skilled anaesthetic assistance and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based patient care. Clinical expertise is utilised during all phases of the peri-operative period, these skills may also be employed in other satellite areas

The successful candidate will work collaboratively and co-operatively with members of the multi-disciplinary.

All practitioners are encouraged to participate in the training and development of other staff members and students.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
