Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Administrator / Medical Secretary.
The post holder will provide an efficient administration service to support the Neurodevelopmental Team.
The role will involve working closely with administrative, nursing and medical colleagues to providing a comprehensive admin support service. The post holder will be required to process incoming referrals, minute taking, undertake audio typing of clinical letters and other annotation and medical records handling, filing and other administrative tasks.
You will have good attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills. You must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently; using your initiative to contribute to the smooth running of this busy area. The post holder must have the ability to manage their workload efficiently and effectively.
Previous medical administration experience would be advantageous, but is not essential. Experience of working in a busy office environment is desirable.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
