Primary Care Pharmacy Technician

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, forward thinking, pharmacy technician with excellent interpersonal skills looking to develop their career across primary care and community services (to include community hospitals and frailty services).
This role will support the frailty service throughout the community.
A patient centred evidence-based medicines approach to medicines management is required in the role. You will be working collaboratively with health and social care teams across the locality to improve patient outcomes related to medicines use and ensuring patient safety.
You will be based in the west area of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, supported by our established and highly valued team of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
Appointment to this post is at Band 4 and we welcome applications for newly qualified or pre-registration pharmacy technicians about to qualify.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the provision of comprehensive medicines management services in a primary care setting under the supervision of the Prescribing Support pharmacist, with emphasis on the delivering a patient centred, safe, effective, efficient pharmaceutical service across all sectors of care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
