Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board as an Office Clerk on a permanent basis within the Endoscopy Team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organised, flexible to service needs as we are running a 7 day service and will develop a wide range of skills in several areas of administration including customer service, time management and electronic record keeping.

Candidates must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of customer care at all times.

Main duties of the job

The Endoscopy Support Clerk will be responsible for providing an essential support service in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that the casenotes are at the right place at the right time.

The post holder will cross cover in all aspects of the role including, the pulling, filing, preparation, amalgamation and secure transportation/delivery of the casenotes for the purpose of preparing Endoscopy Lists. Providing a professional and efficient reception service within the Endoscopy Unit, ensuring that all patients and visitors are welcomed to the department in an appropriate manner. Ensuring that all service users are aware of the importance of tracking the patient record to its correct location.

Welsh language Skills need to be learnt when appointed to the post.
