Job summary
We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking occupational therapist to join our well-established Occupational Therapy Team within Forensics Team as a team leader.
This post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership and be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team. A clear understanding of the role and opportunities for Occupational Therapy in inpatients setting.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, forward thinking and compassionate leader with demonstrable experience within community or inpatient services. You must be able to demonstrate highly specialist clinical, managerial and leadership skills and will have excellent organisational and time management skills in order to manage a clinical caseload and team leader responsibilities.
You will be able to initiate and implement service changes whilst supporting the development of the team through supervision and appraisal. Excellent communication skills will be required to forge effective working relationships, challenge current practice and develop innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
