Main duties of the job
With strong team working and leadership skills, you will be able to demonstrate the values that are important to us, communicating well with both colleagues and families. The ability to communicate in Welsh is not essential but would be an advantage. You should have the vision and ability to help move the service forward, while getting the best out of your colleagues and team and will never compromise on quality always treating others with respect and dignity.This area is geographically diverse, comprising of large rural areas, an extensive coastline, a number of large population centres and industrial areas. It offers spectacular landscapes and a rich cultural heritage - many of the population we serve speak both Welsh and English. We have good road and rail links into English cities like Chester, Liverpool ad Manchester and ferry links to Ireland.
We employ around 16,000 staff and have an annual budget of around £1.1 billion. As a fully integrated organisation we commission and provide a full range of primary, community, mental health and acute and elective hospital services.
