This exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a dynamic and motivated immunisation team. The post holder will have professional responsibility to work within the Central Childrens Immunisation Team, with the base being Kinmel Bay Child Health Clinic. This team offers and delivers the immunisation programme to school aged children in various community settings. This position is for a Band 5 community staff nurse and therefore candidates must hold current NMC registration.

Main duties of the job

To work as a team member to visit schools and other community settings to deliver immunisations to school aged children. This post will include travelling between sites across Conwy and Denbighshire. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role. The team deliver the nasal flu programme to all school aged children. They also offer all the high school vaccinations to include HPV, DTP, Men ACWY and MMR.
