THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 16 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.

Are you looking for an opportunity to play a pivotal role in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's, first point of contact for patients services?

As a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Self Care Service Clinical lead therapist, you will provide a high level of service to the Single Point of Contact team, which forms the basis of the 3P's delivery (Promote, Prevent and Prepare for treatment to be a success).

Experience

Essential

  • Significant post-graduate experience; including relevant experience in specialist field.
  • Experience of Quality Improvement and delivery of improvement projects
  • Managing a complex caseload using an advanced clinical reasoning process
  • Significant experience working as an autonomous practitioner

Desirable

  • Advanced service development skills
  • MSc studies or equivilant at level 7
  • Evidence of team management.
  • Experience of service development across professional boundaries

Qualifications and Knowladge

Essential

  • Degree or equivilant in Occuaptional Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Current professional registration with HCPC.
  • Significant post graduate specialist education within relevant clinical area at level equivalent to Masters or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Clinical specialist experience at band 7 level
  • MSc within relevant specialty.
  • Post-graduate qualification up to post grad diploma level in relevant area
  • Member of professional body/Specialist Interest Group
  • Evidence of leadership courses/ qualifications

Aptitudes and ability

Essential

  • Autonomous practitioner with self-management skills
  • Able to demonstrate situations where effective leadership & management skills have been used to improve care.
  • Ability to lead, support, coach and motivate others
  • Professional confidence & attitude to work

Desirable

  • Understanding of the working arrangements and principles of practice of other professional groups.
  • Member of special interest group.
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Research methodology
