Job summary

To provide administrative supervision for the administration team within the Children & Young People's Division under the direction of the Administration Manager and Deputy Operations Manager. The post holder will facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective administrative and clerical service. The post holder will supervise the administrative and clerical staff organising their workload as necessary and reviewing systems and processes in line with service needs. The post holder will be responsible for contacting the Estates department, IT, facilities and other departments as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the various sites.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • NVQ 4 in Admin/customer care or equivalent experience

  • ILM Team Leading qualification or equivalent qualification or experience.

  • Previous office experience.
  • Previous staff management experience.

  • Previous experience of supervising and managing staff.
