Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of North Wales, who has experience of partnership working, working as part of a team and is committed to making a difference.

We recognise that public health is delivered by a range of partners working across areas including but not limited to, health, social care, education, youth and community, community safety, housing and environment so would encourage those working in these fields to apply.

Main duties of the job

We currently have a vacant position, full-time covering the Central (Conwy and Denbighshire) based in Preswylfa, Mold. The post-holder should also be prepared to travel across the North Wales area to attend relevant face-to-face meetings.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Knowledge of one or more health promotion programme areas
  • Public Health policy/strategies.

Desirable

  • Masters in Public Health/Health Promotion
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Registered, or working towards registration, with the UK Public Health Register (Practitioner Registration).

Experience
