Job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person who will provide clerical duties. The post will be based at Royal Alexandra Hospital, Marine Drive, Rhyl.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, good communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and be efficient and organised with their own workload. The candidate should also have keyboard skills.

A good telephone manner and communication skills are essential. The ability to speak Welsh would be beneficial but is not essential. The post holder will be required to demonstrate a professional and sensitive manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

Undertake clerical and some word processing duties as directed by the team.

Assist with the booking / rearranging of appointments as directed by the team.

Deal with enquiries either on the telephone or face to face form health professionals, colleagues, and the public, under the guidance of the administrative team.

File reports / letters or relevant information within individual case notes following relevant protocols and in an accurate and timely manner.

Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly.
