Job summary
Support the Facilities Coordinator/Hotel Services Assistant Manager in the delivery of efficient and effective operational services across the service and contribute to the achievement of Statutory Compliance within their area of responsibility.
We currently have an opportunity in our Domestic Services Department based in Royal Alexandra Hospital, Rhyl.
The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained.
We are seeking additional Domestic Supervisors who will have responsibility for making sure that cleaning standards are satisfactory in accordance with our set operational protocols and cleaning frequencies.
Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry or as a supervisor will be beneficial.
Uniform/protective clothing will be provided.

Main duties of the job
In conjunction with peers, co-ordinate and organise day to day activities of the operational staff within the department.
To be committed to take part in providing the best quality cleaning services to the environment within the Health Board's premises. To share leaned practices with others in developing cleaning services as changes are made over time to allow the department and individuals to react to changing needs.
To use skills to the best advantage when supervising, training and auditing cleaning processes with Domestic Assistants in a variety of areas from very high risk to low risk as classified by the National Standards of Cleanliness that require management of different audit lead times.
To monitor and sustain best cleaning practices and ensure that self and others provide this to the standard required.
The post will be based at Royal Alexandra Hospital, Rhyl and the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
