Job summary

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable person with business and operational experience to cover the full time post ofDeputy Operations Manager - West Children's Services CAMHS and NDS/LD.

The post is a key role within the West Area Team and essential to the safe and effective delivery of services for Children and their families. It is a Band 7 role that involves the leadership and management of all Children's Operational / Business Support / Administrative and Clerical staff in CAMHS and NDS/LD. Managing finance and performance is a key role and supporting the Service Managers and Team Leads.

Main duties of the job

This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the operational delivery of all aspects of acute, community and CAMHS services. The post holder is expected to deputise in the absence of the Operations Manager and to manage services as delegated by the Operations Manager (OM). At times the post holder will directly control the performance of their area and in other areas delegated to them and they will be required to work with clinical and service management teams to achieve the required aims. The post holder is expected to represent service areas to key Stakeholders within and outside of the Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post
