Job summary

We have 2 vacancies within our Early Years team based in Denbigh. We are happy to discuss working hours with successful candidates to ensure vacancy hours are maximised and promoting flexible working.

The successful candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplinary health team, providing support to children 0-5yrs with social communication difficulties, learning disabilities & complex health needs.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist in the provision of child assessment and further interventions for children within a variety of different community settings. You will provide support to children and families using a holistic approach and support children and their families with hospital appointments and provide desensitisation programmes. The post holder will work in collaboration with the community and acute teams to implement initiatives to effectively respond to the health needs of children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs, which include health promotion, health screening and access to health care services.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
