Job summary
North Wales GP Out of Hours East Division would like to invite applications for part-time Drivers. There will be an expectation of applicants to be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week/43.45 hours per month with shifts covering evenings, weekends, overnights and on Bank Holidays.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve: 1.To safely transport General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners to home based patients and assist as necessary with treatment centre consultations 2. When mobile to receive calls from the call centre and pass appropriate accurate information (clinical and non-clinical) to the GP 3. To ensure that the car is roadworthy and contains equipment and drug boxes for use on home visits.4.To support other members of the Out of Hours team and clinicians undertaking various duties including call dispatching and contacting patients to book appointments when not engaged in driving to ensure the smooth running of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
