Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Booking Office in Children's Services East.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated person, who will provide accurate and effective administrative support, for Children and Young People in the East area.

The candidate will ideally have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the services provided by the Childrens services and have a clear understanding of waiting list principles, or have previous knowledge and experience using WPAS for waiting lists and Refer to Treatment pathways (RTT). The successful candidate will be well - organised, self-motivated and able to work well as a member of a busy team.

Main duties of the job

To provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective appointment booking service.

To be part of a cohesive and integrated admin function to the service. Provide 'first point of access' administration for all referrals into the Children's Booking Centre. Act as first point of contact for all enquiries and referrals into the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
