Job summary
Applications are invited for the position of a Health Records Coordinator based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, being responsible for assisting with the provision of an essential support service in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that the casenotes are at the right place at the right time and will actively promote the vision for the Health Records Service working towards a digital records future, supporting the delivery of modernisation plans with input to the delivery of the Health Records Operational Plan.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the day to day operations of the service and staff to ensure a high quality, efficient and effective service that supports patient care. The post holder will be responsible for the management of staff, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workload demands to meet strict deadlines whilst producing work to the highest of standards.
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel
Candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality and ensure a high standard of customer care at all times.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a flexible approach to work to meet the demands of the service. The post holder will be expected to work flexible hours on a planned basis, to ensure that support is provided for staff working out of core hours.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
