Job summary
A position has arisen for the post of Health Care Support Worker within the Outpatient Department at Mold Community Hospital. You will work within a supportive team and be supervised by our Charge Nurse. Mold Community Hospital that holds a number of different clinics/outpatients services that is utilised by the local Community and BCUHB patients.
Health Care support Workers will engage in a number of activities including being responsible for helping patients to their appropriate clinic, completing weights, observations and urinalysis. Continued development with NVQ is supported by your manager.
The post holder will be required to rotate within departments as required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist the Registered Nurses whilst working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient and the family in delivering evidence-based care to patients and clients. This is a flexible role within the Outpatient department Community Hospital/Rehabilitation Unit East Area
The post holder will carry out direct patient care under the indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse and on completion of agreed competencies.
