We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and capable person to the above position. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and work as part of a team in the delivery of a rehabilitation service to promote recovery for people with a recurrent and enduring severe mental illness. There must be a commitment to develop knowledge and skills.
This eight-bedded unit situated in the market town of Ruthin has been open since 2003 and is recognised as a vital and integral component of the adult mental health service provision for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an named nurse to at least one client on the unit and associate nurse for at least one other client, delivering a quality service for the care of the Seriously Mentally ill. The post holder will be expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision, and required to supervise unqualified staff.
Tan y Castell is an eight bedded Rehabilitation Unit for people suffering from Serious Mental Illness providing a specialist service for North Wales in conjunction with other rehabilitation units within the Specialist Services.
This post is fixed term for 12 months due to the needs of the service.
