Job summary

  • The post holder will have responsibility for delivering mandatory training programmes in personal safety in order for the organisation to meet its statutory obligations.
  • The post holder will provide the workforce with specialist advice pertaining to personal safety and dealing with violence and aggression in the workplace.
  • The post holder will have responsibility for planning Classes and carrying out maintenance of records for ESR.

We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity, for an experienced trainer in Personal Safety Training to join our Health & Safety Team. Delivering personal safety training, formerly known as violence and aggression training, based at Bangor also covering a variety of locations within BCUHB as service needs require.

The post holder will assist the service lead by providing the delivery of personal safety training. This includes evaluation of those attending training provided to BCUHB employees and University Students who work in higher risk assessed workplaces.

The role contains an advisory element, which will include giving advice and guidance to colleagues within BCUHB with the overall objective to reduce the risk of injury from violence and aggression in the workplace across the organisation.

We are looking for self-motivated team player with experience of delivering personal safety training packages, who have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
