Job summary

We are delighted to offer the opportunity to come and join our trauma and orthopaedic ward here in Wrexham Maelor Hospital as the ward manager. We need an experienced, highly motivated individual who can work with our Orthopaedic/ Surgical team to deliver high quality patient care. As a ward manager you will lead the team to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Main duties of the job

You wil need to ensure the highest standards of quality and assist your team to achieve this.

You will be given the opportunity to learn and develop new leadership and management skills.

Mason Ward is a 26 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward.

The post holder will be supported by the Surgical Matron along with the Surgical Head of Nursing.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
