We have Resourcing teams in each of our IHC teams. Reporting into each Associate Director of People Service, the Resourcing team provides Recruitment, Temporary staffing and Rostering support.
Our Resourcing teams will work closely with recruiting managers across the Health Board and also our NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership who provides transactional recruitment and payroll support.
Main duties of the job
- Ensure that staff and others using the bank service receive an excellent level of service. Act as a point of reference and support for answering queries or dealing with more complex calls to or from staff or other bodies to ensure staffing levels and skill mix are used to full effect in the delivery of service
- Communicate with prospective bank employees and a wide range of BCUHB colleagues about the Temporary Staffing Bank. Communication will be verbal, face-to-face, by telephone or written whichever is most appropriate for the purpose.
- Present information relating to Temporary Staffing Services to large groups; this includes bank workers, ward sisters/charge nurses, senior nurses, nurse graduates and at recruitment events (not exhaustive).
- Deal with sensitive information ensuring confidentiality of patients and staff information maintained at all times.
- Communicate with the People Operations team, BSP and other external agencies e.g. NMC & CRB office regarding recruitment and professional registration issues.
- Contribute to effective team working by ensuring effective communication within the Temporary Staffing team, Resourcing team and People Operations teams by providing consistent, equitable and timely advice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is fixed term for 10 months due to - meet the needs of the service
