Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Mental Health- Conwy Mental Health Team

We are continuously developing and expanding the range of support, care and treatment we offer to people across North Wales. This includes establishing new exciting roles in our community and inpatient teams and a clear pathway for staff to continue to learn and progress throughout their career.
As part of our growth strategy, Betsi Cadwaladr University Local Health Board are currently looking to appoint a full-time (10 Sessions) Consultant in Adult Mental Health, based in Conwy.
This is a replacement post to provide medical input into the Adult Community Mental Health Team covering Conwy in the Central Area of North Wales. The central area covers the two counties of Conwy and Denbighshire
As part of the Health Board's strategic collaboration with Bangor University, individuals with an interest in teaching and research who can demonstrate and agree a possible contribution to the School can be considered and nominated for recognition through the University's process for granting honorary titlesand help to deliver our shared vision for the North Wales School of Medicine and Health.

- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
Desirable
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
- MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Welsh AC Approval.
Eligibility

- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of completing CCT.
- Approved Clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.

- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
