Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to support the BCUHB Outpatient Improvement & Efficiency Programme.

Main duties of the job

As a senior professional manager working at senior level across the organisation with considerable freedom to act, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of the Outpatients key objectives and service transformation priorities. This will help to deliver services that provide optimum patient care, ensure efficient use of resources and promote a culture that is progressive and inclusive while achieving financial balance.

They will manage project team(s), which will include dedicated project resources contributing to project delivery. The post holder is expected to mentor colleagues supported by the Outpatient Programme Support Manager and transfer skill in order to grow service improvement and project management capabilities.

The post holder will use their influencing skills to make fundamental and wide ranging changes to the way we work, overcoming resistance along the way.

  • Educated to at least Masters level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience at an influential level
  • Evidence of recent personal development in the delivery of change management
