The North Wales GP Out of Hours Service requires a Medical Advisor to support the East Locality with clinical leadership, clinical governance, audit and service development.
Requirement - commitment of 12 months with a requirement of 2 sessions per week.

Main duties of the job
To provide medical leadership expertise and advice to strategic and operational aspects of Out of Hours service provision to the LHB.
To represent Out of Hours with partner agencies, where appropriate at local and national level.
To work with the other BCU LHB Medical Advisors to assist in the strategic and operational development of unscheduled care services locally, across BCU LHB and to contribute to the national unscheduled care agenda where appropriate.
To lead on the performance management and professional development of GPs working within the OOH service.
