We believe in developmental and training opportunities for our staff and therefore are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated, passionate Band 5 Registered Nurse.

We have great education and development opportunities, thanks to our close links with our local Universities, along with induction, orientation and preceptorship, we will make sure you are looked after and supported in enhancing your skills through continuing professional development.

There will be opportunities for rotations across community hospitals and acute hospitals to develop and enhance your clinical experience and skills as well as continued professional development opportunities through our in house practice development programme and external academic courses within universities.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care. In addition to working collaboratively and co-operatively with other members of the team, the post holder will be motivated to meet the needs of patients and their families and developing a valuable relationship.

Assist in the management and organization of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members'. Flexible working can be discussed to suit you and your family such as full time, part time and term time to enable you to achieve a great work-life balance.

The unit works closely with all members of the MDT focusing on effective and safe discharge of our patients. We provide the unique opportunity to work within different areas to develop and extend skills and knowledge in a supported environment. There is a high quality in the modern services that we offer within our continuously growing and developing wards and unit.

The areas include the Rehabilitation Unit, Community Hospitals, District Nursing and Community Resource Team. We also promote and encourage strong working relationships across MDT working and offer excellent career opportunities.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
