We have GP Vacancies across our Managed Practices in Conwy County;

Llys Meddyg / Gyffin Surgery main site is located within the town walls of Conwy whilst the branch site is based on the outskirts of Conwy town centre. We are a friendly, well organised team comprising of a Clinical Lead, salaried GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurse, HCA and an MSK Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist. The practice is supported by a well established Reception/administration team and Practice Manager.

As part of the Health Board's strategic collaboration with Bangor University, individuals with an interest in teaching and research who can demonstrate and agree a possible contribution to the School can be considered and nominated for recognition through the University's process for granting honorary titlesand help to deliver our shared vision for the North Wales School of Medicine and Health.

Main duties of the job

The Role:

We are looking for a number of GPs to join the team across the three practices. The pay range being offered is within the current DDRB pay scale.

  • We offer a generous relocation package of up to £8k.
  • We are able to be flexible on your contract with full, part or portfolio contracts available.
  • Generous annual leave allowance, of 30 days per year, plus bank holidays.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice / Certificate Confirming Eligibility for General Practice Registration (CEGPR), or equivalent.
  • Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible for inclusion.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

About us

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in Primary Care.

The Location:

All three practices are based in Conwy County, North Wales. Conwy and Colwyn Bay both have a variety of independent coffee shops and bars and is close to the town of Llandudno with a good range of retail stores and a theatre and conference centre. Its coastal location also means that within minutes you can be in the countryside and heading to the Snowdonia National Park. There are also good road and rail links to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. This family friendly town is close to a number of great state and independent schools, and the University Health Board has links with the two local Universities in Bangor and Wrexham (Glyndwr University).
