Job summary
We are transforming the way we work at Glan Clwyd; maximising the opportunities for our Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants. You will be responsible for supporting this transformation, working with staff to identify opportunities across the spectrum of pharmacy services including the dispensary, wards, production, purchasing and distribution, ensuring that we have the right people, trained to the right level, doing the right job. This is an opportunity for you to develop your skills as a leader both operational and clinically to lead our team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Chief Pharmacy Technician to join our pro-active Pharmacy team. In this post, you will be responsible for leading the provision of a high-quality pharmacy service provided to patients at Glan Clwyd Hospital, working to ensure safe and efficient delivery of medicines for both in-patients and for discharge. With excellent organisational skills, you will deal with the unpredictable demands of a busy department ensuring that key targets are met.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
