About us
Everybody's role within the C&YP service is to work towards helping the children and young people in that family.
Families can exist in many forms, sizes and some children and young people may only have themselves. We see our goal as to support that child and/or young person and whatever their family is or will be to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. We know that fate has placed them in this situation and we are there to support them through their journey to resolve/adapt or come to terms with the health challenges they face. Every one of our team member plays an important part in our service and together we work to establish our own "family of a team", as we recognise that the privilege of supporting Children and young people through their journey is improved if we support and work together as a team that respects and supports each other.
Children are at the heart of what we do every day; and team working plays a huge part of this.
