Job summary

The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Main duties of the job

VACANCY - GENERAL PRACTITIONER FIXED TERM

We are a 7 doctor forward thinking training practice, seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our committed multidiscipline team

We are looking to offer up to six months fixed term post for a salaried GP - 2 days per week (4 sessions)

We are situated in modern premises with onsite pharmacy and ample parking and good commuting links just off A470, 15 minutes from Cardiff, close to the modern housing developments and facilities to the west of Caerphilly at the foot of Caerphilly mountain.

We have a growing list size (currently 9,800 patients) and a branch surgery in Senghenydd.

We are a teaching practice with two trainers (GP registrars and undergraduate students) so we are in a good position to offer support to newly qualified GPs coming out of training.

Currently we use EMISweb and are a paper light practice.
