Practice Nurse - Tonyfelin Medical Centre

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced GP Practice Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at Tonyfelin Medical Centre. Tonyfelin Medical Centre is a 7-partner practice based in Caerphilly with a list size of 12,800 patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the highest clinical standards, with knowledge of women's health, cervical cytology, respiratory management (diploma level), wound management, chronic disease management, child and adult immunisations, INR clinics and chronic disease management.

Main duties of the job

You will be supported in your role by excellent clinical and admin teams with the aim of providing a high standard of care.

The Practice

· 7 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 3 Practice Nurses, HCA & Phlebotomist

· High QAIF Achievements

· Paper light practice using Vision

· We offer a range of enhanced services including minor surgery, contraceptive IUD and implants and joint injections

· Access to MSK Physio and Mental Health Practitioner

· The practice takes an active role in local cluster work

The Job

The successful applicant must be able to provide:

• Respiratory management (Diploma in respiratory care)

• Cervical Cytology

• Adult and Childhood Immunisations

• Chronic Disease Management

• Travel Services

• Wound Care

• Phlebotomy

• Health Promotion

• High quality Medical Recording

• Contraceptive Advice and Services
