Job summary

GLAN RHYD SURGERY, EBBW VALE, BLAENAU GWENT

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SIX SESSION SALARIED GP (approximately) WITH A VIEW TO A PARTNERSHIP, TO IMPROVE FLEXIBLE WORKING PATTERNS FOR OUR CLINICAL TEAM – PLEASE NOTE, IF 6 SESSIONS IS MORE THAN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, PLEASE LET US KNOW, WE ARE FLEXIBLE

Approximately 6 sessions per week to include Monday/Thursday + 1 other – If 6 sessions is more than you are currently looking for, let us know, we are open to offers/suggestions

· Shared workload

· 1 x monthly on call with later start

· No extended hours / weekends / evenings

· Finish by 5 pm on a normal day

The successful candidate will be employed by the GP Practice/Medical Centre, not Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

· Proactive Partnership with varying experience

· Stable GP team - only one GP has left in the last 10 years (and they still locum for us!)

· Well respected Training and Teaching practice

· A great team of well tenured, skilled Clinicians

· Great links with our neighbourhood network, meaning good information exchange

· First-rate admin support; they take a lot of responsibility on, allowing GPs to concentrate on their clinical duties

· Pharmacist support to help with repeat prescriptions / medication reviews

· Specialist interests welcomed and encouraged

· 8600 list

· Purpose built well maintained premises

· Vision 360 computer software

· First rate nursing support which includes an Advanced Nurse Practitioner

· In practice Psychological Well being Practitioner

· Newly Qualified GP's highly considered (Our last 3 GP recruits were newly qualified and they are all still here!)
