Job summary
The Senior Physiotherapist (non-rotational) is a specialist clinician working in a specific clinical area. They participate as a member of the physiotherapy team, independently managing a specialist clinical caseload with the Monmouth Community. The post holder will be part of the wider Older adult Integrated Team at Monnow Vale Health and Social Care Facility, working alongside Health and Social Care colleagues.They take responsibility for supervising, delegation, training and developing others. The post holder will contribute to implementing changes in their own clinical area to improve patient care and efficiency of service delivery.Reporting to:

Main duties of the job
Conducting holistic physiotherapy assessments and providing specialist, client centred physiotherapy interventions in patients home and other community settings.
To work autonomously within the multidisciplinary and Integrated team to develop and implement personalised treatment plans, aiming to maximise patient independence and prevent hospital admission.
Supervision of junior staff and students, collaborating with other health and social care professionals and managing a caseload of complex and varied needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
