Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated, motivated healthcare support worker to join the team on C6W RGH . The unit is a busy with acute patient care and there will be opportunities to develop your skills.We are looking for a caring and dedicated individual who would be willing to train and develop within our high standards. Main duties of the job
Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office's criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed
You will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment and clinical care skills by supporting Band 5 nurses and other Band 2 HCSW's. In addition you will be required to provide support and advice to patients and their families/carers. NVQ Level 2 essential.
The post holder will work as part of a team that provides health care services to patients within an Adult Inpatient department/ward, focusing on the direct needs of service users undergoing healthcare treatments.
The post holder is expected to work within clinical competencies with supporting base knowledge. You will be expected to work within defined protocols, adhering to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales under the direction and close supervision of and reporting to a registered nurse.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
