We have an exciting Apprentice Finance Assistant vacancy in our Central Management Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and to achieve an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 2 and Level 3 Qualification, with the option to study for AAT Level 4 subject to completion of Level's 2 & 3.
The job description attached will give you an overview of the tasks you will be trained to undertake by the end of the Apprenticeship.
You will receive a comprehensive induction, formal training and you will be provided with the support and guidance that you need to achieve success!
You will need to be dedicated to completing the qualification and have an interest in the Health Service.
Main duties of the job
As an apprentice finance assistant you will:
- Earn a salary while studying
- Gain job specific skills, knowledge and behaviours
- Have regular pastoral support and personal development reviews
- Gain knowledge of finance processes in the Health Board
- Provide finance support across varying teams and services
- Receive training and gain knowledge on NHS electronic systems
- Gain experience within the NHS and understand the structure and different services delivered to our local community.
You will be helping to provide a first class service to members of the public, patients and colleagues across the Health Board.
This role is fixed term for 24 months with an option to extend to 36 months (subject to successful completion of AAT levels 2 & 3)
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
