Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trials Administrator, to support the Research Governance Team within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The role will mainly be based in our new Clinical Research Centre in the Royal Gwent Hospital, but travel may be required across our other sites in Nevill Hall Hospital and The Grange Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality administrative, data management and coordination support, to ensure the smooth running of a range of clinical trials and other research projects. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and be adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service.
This is a fixed term for 2 years to cover the needs of the service
Main duties of the job
The individual will work with representatives of the Pharmaceutical Industry and relevant members of Health Board, Health and Care Research Wales and Collaborative Universities to ensure that Clinical Trials and Research Studies are coordinated in accordance with the Health Boards standing financial regulations and with the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care in Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
